To Hani - Lounge Bar & Restaurant
Our architects in Cyprus were inspired by the historical significance of “Hani,” derived from the Turkish word Han, meaning inn. These inns, built during the Turkish occupation, served as essential stops for travelers and their animals.
Our project pays homage to these historical structures, reflecting their rich cultural legacy and the spirit of service they provided. Notable examples like Büyük Han in Nicosia and Kumarcilar Han, which now houses an archaeological service, stand as testaments to this era. Our work captures the essence of these “Hania” (plural of Hani), celebrating their role in Cypriot history and architecture.
