The point of doing it this way is simple: you decide what your home looks like by looking at it, not by reading a floor plan. And because the same office carries the design through permits and onto site, what you approved is what gets built.
We start with what the land allows — coverage, height, setbacks, access, orientation — and what you want from the building. Where those two disagree is the whole design problem, and it is better found on day one than in month four.
